The pattern in this kit is from a footstool designed and stitched by the late Nancy Robb. It reflects her love of crewel embroidery and the style of the times.

This work is usually done with crewel wool, Appletons and Strand are ideal.
We include a thread list in the kit for the colours of Appleton's crewel wool that Nancy used in her design and we also can provide a thread pack of all these wools.
